Some ANT sticks (and Windows installs) don’t auto-detect the drivers properly.

My laptop computer recognizes the ant stock, But says “driver unavailable”.
I tried to install the drivers , But for some reason couldn’t download them

Hi Jill,
I actually updated this post in Nov 2022, but your comment made me revisit it again. Basically in the last few years we aren’t seeing any new ANT sticks on the market – just some of the generic ones disappearing and no longer available.

I updated the post to include the two good sticks currently available on Amazon. Both work great in my experience – so I would buy the cheaper one if it was me. But some people prefer the reassurance of having a name-brand device.

Are there any better ones out there now? I dont have a Garmin, only the Zwift Hub and a TV/Laptop with a broken Bluetooth and an android phone. Gotta get Zwifting!

I just upgraded to a Windows 11 PC, and had to install ANT drivers for my ANT dongle to work.

Windows Update>Advanced options>Optional updates
Installed “Dynastream Innovations, Inc – ANT USB Stick”

Just got a new desktop Window 11 / Intel 7 to comply with the new upgrade’s requirements, but I am having issues with my ANT+. I did not have any issues with the ANT while using it on my old Window 10, Intel 3 computer. Question: Have you experience any ANT+ issue with windows 11? Do I need to get an ANT+ compatible with window 11? What’s your best suggestion?
