The frames/wheels will affect your speed similar to IRL, so if you take two equally matched riders (same height/weight/power output) and put one on a faster bike, the odds are on the faster bike. If you take a rider who can push/hold 4 Watts/kg over distance versus someone who is only able to hold 3.2W/kg the bike will not matter (unless they are being silly).

The stars give an indication, but it is quite impossible to derive stats from them alone…
On Zwift Insider, there’s a list called Zwift Speed Test: Frame Ranking Chart.

With this list, you can find more detailed stats about aero and climbing performances. There are also specific lists available for specific routes: climbs (Epic KOM, AdZ, Innsbruck etc), flat and rolling courses…

Check them out, as well as the wheels ranking chart and the TT ranking charts.

You’ll make beter choices after going through these lists.

I may be simple minded in this case, but I thought winning a race or being the fastest always depends on the power you gain, right?

Can a frame of wheels make you faster? In this case a 35 level will allways be in advantage of a starter.

Nothing got nerfed. Just the level requirement changed. Bike test data is all current and up to date.

wait, what? bikes are getting nerfed? Eric, time to update your bike and wheel tests maybe? I almost bought the Felt on the recommendations that it was tied for 1st with a more expensive frame per Zi review.

Yeah they made things harder to get. Look at DT Swiss Arc 62s. That’s just criminal what they did. Glad I got those and my Aeroad back in the day.
