Keep your eyes peeled. Quite a lot of turns for this route. Most of them are non default and you only get a few seconds from the notification to the turn. Some of them are also whilst travelling downhill at speed

3 years ago I rode many of the Rebel Routes, including “Spiral into the Volcano”. I thought that there should be one where all “arms” in Watopia were included and therefore made “My rebel route: Full Spiral Into The Volcano”. The day I rode the route it happened that I got to ride with Julian Alaphilippe for a while. What a great ride 🙂

In reply to John. the map is too complicated to spell it out here, but the idea is as much of it as possible. It would be impossible to cover every inch without a lot of repetition. Too bad Road Captain doesn’t include Urukazi yet.

Rebel route suggestion: Makuri Pretzel

I worked out that 10 laps of the Muckle Yin followed by 8 laps of the Glasgow crit circuit (277km, 3176m elevation) comes very close to the official men’s elite road world championship in Glasgow (277.6km, 3167m).
So that’s my Rebel route for Scotland.
