The profile and map capture the touch input, so I can’t scroll down the page.

It would be great if they were a little narrower so I can grab outside them easily to keep scrolling.

Or you could overlay an almost blank div on them (just says something like “tap to interact”) that disappears after an initial touch event and reappears when you touch outside of them. It’s a bit of a ghetto fix, but I’ve done that on a project before where the content didn’t have Google’s nice-ish ‘use two fingers to scroll” thing.
