I re-did this on free-ride and this time it took me around the whole route, however the route badge still didn’t unlock. I spoke to Zwift support who put it down to me leaving the room resulting in my heart rate being temporarily disconnected. Fortunately they were able to credit the badge (albeit not the bonus XP).

Steven – I’m going to be riding Lutscher tomorrow (12/4), to complete the badge. I’ll report back if there is any issue, but I’m guessing your situation was based off the length of your workout.

Rather than another ascent at the bottom of the hill, it took me back into the town

Aha so that explains why my efforts during a meetup for Lutscher and Lutscher CCW do not show up on the Strava (Zwift insider verified) segments yet I still earned a Zwift achievement badge for each. I went back and completed Lutscher in non-meetup mode and Strava recognized my effort. But in meetup mode…nada. Guess I will need to do a non-meetup ride for Lutscher CCW also. Does anyone know if there are any other courses where a meetup will nullify the segment?

Darn, too bad I did them the hard way! Gotta be the toughest lead-ins of all routes on these two!

This makes justice of the very few point XP points you get and it’s perfectly legit. Once you are at the top, you can launch another meetup for the reverse badge. That way with two ascents (one CCW and one CW) you get TWO badges.

Exactly…it starts at the end of the KOM hill, 1 km before the Banner. This changes thos numbers significantly…

little side note: “Lutscher” does not only mean “lollipop” in German. It also means “sucker”, especially in the cycling context of “sucking wheel”.

as always, thank you for providing this website, it is a great help.

For this course, the numbers seem to be mixed up a little:

For the loop itself, the elevation gain is 403m, the other 425 are for the lead in, so you are showing the total here.

The lead in distance (at least for me was 9 km, mit 10,9, so the total distance is 22,7 km.

Best,

Stefan
