In reply to Nick. The slower you pedal, the more resistance ERG will add. So my guess is, you're entering the spiral of death at 300W. Try it again and see if you can keep your cadence up over 90RPM at 300W, and see what happens!

So can anyone please tell me that i have recently did my ramp test on erg mode and than after some time at 300 watts I can't even pedal because everytime after 300 watts my roller become so hard that i can't even pedal like even on stroke so please can any tell me why it is happening and i always see people doing ramp test and going a bit easy on 300 watts so why there smart trainer is not going hard why? And i have recently got to know about spiral of death but why it is happening with me everytime at 300 watts why not more than that? is there anything that you have to continue apply force on pedal than only it will work but if thats the case than also i am applying power to pedal after 300 watts but my trainer won't make be do it because it gets so hard like you can't even pedal so what the solution for this in ftp or ramp test please reply if anyone knows

In reply to Eric Schlange. Thank you, that was helpful. I spent an hour starting over and I think I solved it. I have an iPad and the tacx app was running in the background. When I turned this off then erg mode and the residence worked on Zwift.

My ERG mode doesn’t work on Zwift. I have a tacx Flux S and the resistance works on the tacx app but has never work on Zwift.

I have turned it on and off, disconnected reconnected, rebooted the app. It says it’s connected to resistance but never works.

How can I resolve this?

Thanks for all of your articles! I’ve had my trainer for some time now and never really learned all the ins and out of the settings until today. I’ve fixed so many different things I’ve been experiencing which were all user error. I should have googled this stuff forever ago.
