My sons zwift ID did not work. I am sure I use the correct ID. When I put it in zwift power it says it did not found zwifter. What can be wrong?

ive opted in to zwift power on profile connections, ive added my user number found in documents on my pc added it to my name in zwift, hit the connect button in zwift power but it still wont recognise it. what is my next step?
